'Let's hope Manchester is ready...': HXC Wrestling issue stark warning ahead of hardcore Chaos AD show

Whatcha gonna do, brother, when HXC runs wild on Manchester?

‘CHAOS A.D.’ is the return of Manchester-based hardcore wrestling promotion HXC Wrestling next Saturday.

The show, which is strictly over-18s only, takes place at Manchester Metropolitan’s University Student Union on June 8.

HXC’s debut show ‘One Dark Night’ in April was packed to the rafters, and promoter Mike Hough has promised his next show is one you can’t afford to miss.

He said: “After the phenomenal success of One Dark Night, we’ve gone all out to make sure the card for the second show really meets the expectations of the fans.”

The show is headlined by hardcore acts Clint Margera, T-Bone, Jimmy Havoc and Jack Jester.

Hardcore wrestling is a more extreme form of wrestling that takes place in unusual environments, making the most of foreign objects such as steel chairs – so expect pain!

Hough added: “As much as we already had future plans for CHAOS.A.D in place, we have taken the feedback of all our fans who attended the first show and injected it into the second.

“We want to continue to give people what they want, and that is the best way to do it.”

HXC have acquired some of the UK’s top hardcore wrestling talent, including Jimmy Havoc, who said he can’t wait to get in between the ropes.

Havoc said: “I’ve been wrestling around Europe for the last 10 years, but never in Manchester.

“Then I get a call from HXC saying they want me on their roster. Can’t say that’s a bad call on their part, let’s just hope Manchester is ready for what I’m going to bring to the party.”

Doors open at 7.30pm, and a ticket also gets you entry into the official after-party, which takes place upstairs in the student union bar.

For ticket information, visit www.ticketline.co.uk, call 0161 832 1111 or buy in store from various Manchester based outlets – see www.hxcwrestling.com for more details.

And that’s the bottom line, cos’ MM said so!
