Zine makers, sellers and would-be buyers are being invited to Manchester Art Gallery’s Zine Fair at the end of this month.

Those participating will be able to showcase material including self-published zines, small press books and comics in a set aside room on the ground floor.

It may also extend to include self-published, hand-made limited run vinyl and cassettes.

The event will feature a guest appearance by author and DJ Dave Haslam who will help launch a new publication in response to the gallery’s Dreams Without Frontiers exhibition.

A charge of £10 per Zine team will provide sellers with a table as well as marketing through the gallery’s social networking sites.

The fair will run as part of the Thursday Lates programme, when the gallery remains open throughout the evening, which pulls in more than 300 visitors most weeks.

The event will start at 5pm and end at 8:45pm, taking place at Manchester Art Gallery on Mosley Street.
