An image of a man suspected of breaking into a Manchester pub and stealing a bike, a computer and cash last month has been released by police.

The theft took place on August 11 between 2.30am and 3.30am at the pub on Liverpool Road Castlefield when a man forced his way into the cellar and took a bike.

He then took a computer used for the till, cash as well as prising open the bar shutters.

The offender is described as being a white man, 5ft 10in tall of medium to large build. He had a fully shaved head and was wearing a dark jumper with horizontal stripes and jeans.

Detective Constable Steve Lowton said: “This was a burglary that caused considerable inconvenience to this business, and we have been working hard to find whoever was responsible.

“I would therefore urge anyone who may recognise the man pictured to call us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 0161 856 2510 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
