Family of missing Bolton man ‘very concerned’ as GMP appeal for help finding him

The family of a missing Bolton man are growing more and more concerned for his safety as Greater Manchester Police continue appeals to the public to help locate him.

David Walsh, 62, had last been seen in Chew Moor, Bolton at 8am while driving a grey Golf car – registration PG02 XDP – on Wednesday September 2.

Police believe he was in Lancashire and Merseyside on the same day, and potentially in Wigan at around 4pm.

Detective Inspector Charlotte Cadden of Bolton division said: “David’s family are now very concerned for him and want to know that he is ok.

“If you see David please get in touch with police.”

David is described as being of slim build, 5 feet 10 inches tall, blue eyes, short grey hair and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing jeans, brown boots, a blue cardigan and possibly an orange t-shirt.

Anyone with information about David’s whereabouts should call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
