'No respect': Disappointed Sir Alex attacks Paul Pogba's departure from Manchester United to Juventus

Paul Pogba’s move to Serie A champions showed 'no respect' and left Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson disappointed.

But the Reds boss is expecting youngster Ezekiel Fryers to join the club’s pre-season training as they look to break into the first-team.

Both youngsters helped the reserves squad lift the league trophy last season and made their first-team debuts but Pogba had already agreed a move to Italy despite of Fergie’s attempts to keep him in Manchester.

"Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware," Sir Alex told MUTV.

"It's disappointing. I don’t think he showed us any respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, they’re probably better doing it away from us.”

Fryers is currently out-of-contract with the club and has failed to agree negotitians with the Reds – but Ferguson expects the 19-year-old to continue his development.

"We haven’t heard anything from Zeki Fryers. I don’t know what’s happening there but he’s not been in touch with the club. His agent hasn’t been in touch with the club and I can only assume he’ll be back for training today."
