Teenage wonderkid Sean Goss is coming to Manchester United after agreeing a transfer move from Exeter City.

The 16-year-old central midfielder has been with the League Two club for eight years but has been snapped by the Old Trafford side for around £100,000.

The youngster netted 13 times for the south-coast club’s U-16s last season – which earned him a trial with the Reds.

Goss played in the academy's 5-3 to a young Ajax side in the Aegon Cup, in Amsterdam, in April.

"The last few days haven't felt real – seeing all the first-team players around and the training facilities is like a different world," Goss told the club’s website.

"I can't wait to get started now and we've got pre-season games coming up.

"I just have to continue working hard and my aim now is to just push higher and higher through the ranks."
