An on-going investigation by Titan (the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit), saw the firearms seized and three men arrested of conspiracy to possess a prohibited weapon and and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so.

Stuart Manners, 44, of Bronington Close, Wythenshaw, Darren Marcell Alcock, 44, of Livingston Drive, Aigburth, Liverpool, and Paul Estridge, 44, of Sandon Street, Toxteth, will also appear on a number of other firearm-related charges.

A 37-year-old woman from Wythenshawe who was also arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The men will appear at Manchester Crown Court this morning.
