Manchester United outcast Wilfred Zaha has ‘nothing but respect’ for Moyes despite alleged Instagram insult

Manchester United’s £15million outcast Wilfred Zaha has denied taking a swipe at David Moyes after posting a photo with his new boss on Instagram.

Zaha posted a picture of himself with new Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, alongside the caption, ‘Nothing like someone who believes in you.’

The England Under-21 winger, who is on loan at the Bluebirds, subsequently deleted the image before issuing an explanation on Twitter.

APPARENT INSULT: Zaha’s Instagram message is being interpreted by some as a dig at Moyes

“My last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect dig at my manager, I have nothing but respect,” Zaha said.

“My picture actually meant Ole Solskjaer has a lot of faith in me to do something for Cardiff’s current position.”

Since completing a £15million move from Crystal Palace last summer the tricky winger has barely featured for David Moyes’ new-look United side, making only a handful of appearances before moving on loan to the Bluebirds.

His exclusion from the Red Devils line up has led many fans to question David Moyes’ judgement, considering United wingers, with the exception of Adnan Januzaj, have struggled for form all season.

Since his arrival in south Wales, Zaha has made a significant impact to Solskjaer’s side.

The 21-year-old played a major part in a 2-1 victory over Norwich, setting up Craig Bellamy’s goal which started their comeback.
