Manchester’s newest restaurant just opened in the Corn Exchange – and its speciality is doner kebabs

Doner kebabs have pride of place on the menu of a new restaurant in Manchester.

Doner Haus – which is located on the former site of Byron Burgers in the Corn Exchange – officially opened its doors over the weekend.

Having found success with its first operation in Glasgow, the brand’s second location is hoping to make a similar impression on diners in the north west.

Just some of the dishes available include street food favourites such as doner kebabs, chicken shawarma, currywurst, and traditional schnitzel.

There are also a heap of options to choose from which are exclusive to Manchester, such as the vegetarian platter, mezze platter and Bavarian meat board, which can also be enjoyed in the bar area as a light-bite.

Finally, there’s also a boat-load of refreshing cocktails and other alcoholic beverages to wash it all down with.

Liam Mooney, General Manager of Corn Exchange Manchester, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Döner Haus to the venue. Its unique menu will offer our customers a tasty new dining experience at Corn Exchange.

“With a modern dining proposition and menu, large portions and value for money, this restaurant is the kind of destination that people will want to visit regularly.”
