Two ‘vulnerable’ Staffordshire teenagers missing – girls thought to have taken train to Manchester

Two ‘vulnerable’ girls in their early teens have gone missing and are believed to have travelled into Manchester on Sunday evening before travelling to Burnley.

Toni Gibbings, 15, and Angel Smith, 12, from Stoke-on-Trent, were last seen on June 8 however it is understood that the girls, who are travelling together, were in contact with a friend at around 9.30pm on June 9.

Toni is white, 5ft 7ins, medium build and has very long dark brown hair. She has a north western accent and was wearing black trousers and a black cardigan.

Angel is white, 5ft 5ins, stocky build and has shoulder length mousey brown hair which is normally tied up.

She was wearing a neon pink top, three-quarter length grey leggings and black trainers.

The pair also have connections to Birmingham, West Midlands.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We’d like to appeal to Toni and Angel directly – if you’re reading this please get in touch as we just want to make sure you’re okay.

“Obviously due to their age the girls are vulnerable and we doing everything we can to find them.”
