Jet2holidays launched new week-long package holidays to Zante and Montenegro from Manchester Airport this week.

The budget airline will provide ATOL-protected breaks to these tourist hot-spots from May 22 2013.

Steve Heapy, Managing Director of Jet2holidays and Chief Commercial Officer of Jet2.com said that he was confident that these new destinations will prove popular with sun-seekers.

He said: “Montenegro is an exciting place to visit and offers a unique and special experience for those seeking something a bit different from their holiday.

“Meanwhile, Zante is a hugely picturesque island with great stretches of golden sands ideal for couples and families, it also has a livelier side for those looking for some fun in the sun.”

Ken O’Toole, Chief Commercial Officer for Manchester Airports Group (MAG), said: “Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have a big presence at Manchester Airport, providing flights and packages holidays to over thirty five destinations for hundreds of thousands of travellers in the North West region.”

“The Greek Island of Zante is a firm favourite and we believe holidays to the increasingly popular destination of Montenegro will be a welcome addition to their expanding operations at Manchester and I’m sure our passengers will feel the same.”

Package holidays to Zante will depart on Wednesdays while Montenegro holidays depart twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday.
