Trafford man hunted over attack on woman which left her with broken arm and cigarettes stubbed out on feet

A Trafford man is wanted in connection with a violent attack that left a woman with a broken arm and cigarette burns on her feet.

David Tierney, 20, from Stretford, is wanted in connection with a section 18 assault, during which a 23-year-old women was repeatedly assaulted over the course of several hours.

The woman was at a house on Moss Park Road, Stretford, on May 31 when her attacker grabbed her arm with such force he broke it.

The victim was then dragged round the room by her arm and had cigarettes stubbed out on her feet, she was treated in hospital.

Detective Sergeant Helen Bell, of Trafford Police, said: “Tierney is wanted in connection with an extremely serious offence in which a young woman was severely beaten and injured. 

“He is clearly a dangerous individual and I would ask that he is not approached, but anyone with information should call the police.”
