Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is to appear in court next month after being slapped with two driving offence charges.
Tevez, 29, was arrested by police last week for allegedly being behind the wheel of a white Porsche Cayenne while serving a driving ban.
Now Cheshire Police have charged the Argentinian with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
The forward has played football in the UK for seven years, and most recently scored a hat-trick against Barnsley in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Tevez has won Premier League titles with both City and rivals Manchester United, asnd also played for London side West Ham United.
