Rudimental bringing musical stylings to Manchester ahead of dropping highly-anticipated third album

Hackney-based band Rudimental will be delivering their drum and bass talent to Manchester in just over a week’s time as part of their second UK tour.

On Tuesday, October 23, the foursome will play at the city’s O2 Apollo ahead of their third album release.

Toast to Our Differences is Rudimental’s highly-anticipated third studio album and is set to release in January 2019, almost four years after their previous record We the Generation.

The group’s debut album – titled Home – famously shot straight to number one in 2013, as did their sophomore album in 2015.

With a huge résumé of collaborations and song-writing credits, it’s fully expected that their next studio album will be a hit.

The band rose to prominence in 2012 when their single Feel the Love, featuring soul singer John Newman, topped the UK Singles Chart and bagged them a BRIT Award nomination.

Their newest member, Amir Amor joined in late 2011, after helping to write and produce this first hit.

The other three members – Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and DJ Locksmith –  have known each other from an early age, growing up on the same street and attending the same school.

Supported by up-and-coming R&B artist Ray BLK, their tour commences on October 16 in Glasgow, hitting a new city every night before arriving in Manchester.

The band is heading to tackle Europe and Australia after their album release.
