A sickening rapist who filmed himself attacking a woman at knifepoint on an iPad was jailed in Manchester today.

Hesam Khosravi, 24, of no fixed abode, admitted two counts of rape at an earlier hearing and was sentenced to six years imprisonment – he was also put on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

The horrifying ordeal was brought to the attention of police on April 18 – four days after the attack at a home in Broadheath, Trafford.

The victim told police she was raped and that Khosravi had filmed the attack – he was arrested and an iPad was seized.

Greater Manchester Policefoudn 16 homemade videos that explicitly show Khosravi raping the woman, who is distressed and sobbing throughout – the footage also shows him armed with a knife at various points.

Detective Constable Pat Finnigan, from the Serious Sexual Offences Unit, said: "The victim was put through a terrifying and degrading ordeal, the effects of which will stay with her for the rest of her life.

"Over a relatively prolonged period Khosravi physically and sexually attacked his victim, leaving her ion fear for her life.

"That he committed these acts with a young child present at the address is all the more shocking.

"So brazen and unrepentant was he about what he was doing he filmed large extracts of the offence and can even be heard laughing at times.

"The footage we recovered from the iPad is some of the most distressing evidence I have ever seen and shows firsthand just how dangerous a man Khosravi is."

Khosravi originally pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape but changed his plea before going on trial.
