Two teens arrested after Jordan Brennan, 17, found dead in bed following fatal Gorton grocery shop attack

Two teens have been arrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old Manchester boy who was found dead in his bed by his mum after a bust-up outside a grocers store.

Jordan Brennan, 17, was with two friends at around 7.30pm on October, 10, when he got into a heated row with another customer outside N.A Grocer store in Hyde Road, Gorton.

He was floored by a man, before getting up to return home.

The man is said to have even entered the shop to make a purchase after the attack.

It is believed the Manchester College student suffered a fatal head injury in the fall, and was found lifeless in bed at 9am the following morning when his mother Kim tried to wake him up for breakfast.

Paramedics attended their address in Gorton he Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene with a head injury deemed to be the cause of death.

Today Greater Manchester Police confirmed a boy, 16, and a girl, 17, have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the two suspects handed themselves in to police in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The two suspects remain in police custody for questioning.
