Are you not entertained? Manchester thrillseekers to sample parkour phenomenon

Manchester’s adrenaline junkies will be treated to something they’ve never seen this autumn when a form of parkour comes to town.

Evolve, the north west’s leading parkour and aerial centre, will present FLOW on October 24 at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre.

Flow director Phil Hanna said after Evolve’s move to MediaCityUK five years ago he felt the time was right to blow audiences’ minds.

“We know there is a real enthusiasm for parkour and freerunning in Manchester and we think that combining this with some of our stunt team’s most awe-inspiring work we’re going to have a pretty spectacular event,” said Hanna.

“Flow will be an event like Manchester has never seen before.  First and foremost it will be entertainment for all of the family.

“Our Stunt and Performance Team have already been training with this in mind for weeks and they will show the audience tricks that they have never seen before in an environment that will bring these sports off the streets for the very first time.”

Taking these sports away from the streets and onto the big stage, it will set out an indoor arena to replicate urban environments.

The Evolve stunt and performance team will perform amazing and breathtaking routines using heavy musical content and a breathtaking light show.

Co-owner Dan Fisher added: “This event is for everyone who likes to be entertained.  Families will love it and so will the adrenaline junkies who will probably go into town after and make it part of a big night out.”

Salford-based brand Evolve offers fitness and performance skills training such as, parkour, free running, aerial arts, conditioning and team building alongside obstacle course training for events like Tough Mudder.

Early bird tickets are currently available for £20 plus booking fee and are available from Skiddle or the website (http://flowfreerunning.co.uk/) where you can find more information about FLOW.
