The Nintendo Unleashed tour is set to hit MCM Manchester Comic Con this weekend showcasing a huge selection of upcoming titles for Nintendo 3DS and WII U.

Following the announcement from the E3 conference in LA, eager Nintendo fans will be able to play eagerly awaited games before their release at the end of the year.

Excited Mario fans will arrive in their thousands to take a peek at three Bowser-bashing titles all in newly adapted 3D.

Hopes and expectations will mostly lie in the chaotic car chasing, green shell throwing, banana skin dropping racing classic Mario Kart 7, which will be released just in time for Christmas on December 1.

Created in 1992, Nintendo god Miyamoto created a lasting legacy still remembered for the incredibly challenging rainbow road and the devastating impact of the dreaded blue shell bomb.

Other 3DS titles on show will include Mario’s overshadowed brother battling ghosts in Luigi’s Mansion 2, the sequel to the original GameCube title, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the sequel to the 1991 critically acclaimed smash-hit The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

3DS E-shop release Kokuga, a challenging shoot ‘em up fresh from G.rev developers, is also available for fans to preview as well as Mario & Luigi Dream Team Bros, yet another adventure involving the red and green plumbers.

Owners of a 3DS console are also invited to bring along their devices to complete achievements and swap friend codes with other Nintendo fans to compete with them in multiplayer events.

For Wii U fans, Nintendo are also previewing The Wonderful 101 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in Manchester as well as Pikmin 3 originally meant for launch last year.

Pikmin fans have been forced to endure a five-year wait since Nintendo confirmed its development in 2008 and finally the title will be available from next week.

There is every faith that fans will flock to the video game giants on Saturday who many credit for bring family gaming to the forefront of game sales, with the release of the internationally successful Wii console.
