He’s making a list and checking it twice! Disney Store makes cuddly toy pledge to Manchester children’s hospital

By Helen Le Caplain

Manchester Disney Store is hoping to make Santa’s nice list this Christmas through their annual charity campaign for Royal Manchester Children’s hospital.

Children young and old are invited to send a letter to Father Christmas in-store at the Arndale Centre from November 26 as part of the Share in the Magic event.

For every letter that is posted in-store or online the store will donate a cuddly toy to children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital over Christmas.

Jessica Davies, Corporate & Individual Fundraising Assistant for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, said: “We are delighted to be part of this wonderful campaign from Disney.

“We have a fantastic relationship with the staff working at the Disney Store in the Arndale Centre and the children and families of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital will really appreciate this special gift and gesture at Christmas.”

Those wanting to make the special delivery will have the chance to write letters in-store or bring one from home to post in the magical post box.

Graham Burridge, Managing Director, Disney Store Europe, said: “We are always delighted at the response from the public to help support our charity campaign and hope that people will bring their letter to Santa into our stores again this year and help us bring some magic and joy to thousands of children this Christmas.”

Running through to Christmas there are a number of ways in which members of the public can join in this fun and get involved in the campaign:
