Fashion guru offers personal stylist service at Manchester Arndale’s Topman – now country’s second largest

By Danielle Wainwright

Manchester’s Arndale Centre is now home to the second largest Topman in the UK following a stunning redesign.

The stylish menswear store not only offers customers a wide variety of styles and labels, but also offers a complimentary personal stylist service, transforming torturous Saturday afternoons into a blissful retail experience.

Personal stylist Dave McCabe, 24, explained the importance of the bespoke service in the store.

He said: “We want to show that Manchester is a fashion-conscious city – most men do not like to admit that they are unsure when it comes to fashion.

We are here to help match a body shape to suitable clothing with no obligation.

“We also want to create a relaxing atmosphere and want couples to be able to happily shop together.”

Dave, along with fellow stylist Ruby Fryman, can advise shoppers about what colours and styles will best suit them in the tranquillity of the stylist sanctuary; a sleek and stylish space complete with lager-stocked fridge.

“Retro clothing is back with a bang and we want men to feel comfortable and confident wearing bright blazers and prints,” he said.

As well as the friendly staff and stunning décor, Topman offers a range of new designers including Taxonomy by Made in Chelsea’s Proudlock, Hype, and Agi & Sam.
With an army of new designers and bright and retro-inspired clothing on offer, fashion-guru David is hoping to inject some style and colour into Mancunian gents’ wardrobes.

“We have cuts for lots of different shapes from ultra-skinny to slim fit, we’ll find the right outfit for anyone and make them feel confident.”

Topman is offering, for a limited time only, a student discount of 20%.
