Who is Brooke Bentham? The rising star supporting Sam Fender during his sold-out show in Manchester

Rising star Brooke Bentham’s will be supporting Sam Fender at the sold-out Manchester Academy on Friday.

The London-based artist is about embark on a sold-out UK tour across 14 cities with Fender, whom she used to play buskers nights with when growing up in Newcastle.

Bentham and Fender could barely have imagined that years letter they would be touring together playing sold out venues across the UK.

Fender has risen to stardom this year with his number one debut album Hypersonic Missiles and fans will get the chance to see the talented Bentham at his shows.

On the eve of Fender’s tour, Bentham has announced that her own debut album will be released on February 28, titled Everyday Nothing.

The second single on the album, Perform for You, is now available on all streaming platforms and exemplifies her stunning vocal range and natural songwriting ability.

Bentham’s biggest hit Oliver has over two million listens on Spotify and the beautiful melody will undoubtedly prove popular and gain her more fans during her support sets for Fender this month.

Her musical influences include Brit Award-winner Laura Marling, American indie-folk band Bon Iver and fellow singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom.

Fans lucky enough to have tickets for Sam Fender’s sold-out tour this winter are in for a treat before the North Shields musician even arrives on stage.

They will hear Bentham’s powerful vocals in her engaging lyrics as she prepares the crowd for the emergence of the ‘Geordie Springsteen’.
