The owner of one of Manchester’s finest restaurants Vermillion and Cinnabar is thrilled to be nominated for the Best Design prize at the prestigious English Curry Awards.

Manzur Iqbal’s eatery is the only one in Manchester to be handed a nomination after the exceptionally stylish restaurant was given the nod along with other strong competitors across the country.

And with the man behind Paris’ Buddha Bar and Alain Ducasse’s Crystal of Marrakech, Miguel Cancio Martins, at the forefront of the project, it’s no wonder that Vermillion and Cinnabar’s unique dining experience and serene atmosphere was chosen in the eighth award ceremony.

Mr Iqbal said: “Here at Vermilion and Cinnabar we pride ourselves on offering a fine mix of food, culture, style and entertainment, in an ultra-cool environment.

ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE: Vermillion and Cinnabar interior was specially designed

“When we were creating Vermilion, we drafted in one of the world’s finest designers to create a stylish and modern interior and the result was a stunning restaurant and bar area.

“It’s great to receive recognition for this among our peers and we are delighted to be nominated for the Best Design Award and look forward to the evening.”

The landmark restaurant serves up the most delectable dishes that Indian and Thai food have to offer in chic surroundings.

The black tie award ceremony will be held at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, on November 26 and for further information about Vermilion and Cinnabar visit their website here.
