Rise and fall of Twit who quit job to deliver Man Utd news… then sees Red and jacks it in four days later

Over the course of mankind people have had meteoric rises only to experience an all-mighty fall.

Susan Boyle, David Moyes, Rick Astley and EastEnders’ Ian Beale are just a handful of people who have seen heavy falls after touching the stars.

Well now you can add one more to your list – one whose rise and fall takes place over just four days.

A Manchester United fan created the Totally Man U account on Twitter and announced to the world on Sunday that he had left his job to start this account and hoped to ‘bring happiness to United fans around the world’.

He certainly brought happiness to his legion of fans – only not quite how he intended.

“Follow my incredible journey,” Totally Man U’s CEO said.

Indeed, it was an incredible journey, if a little short-lived. Let MM take you back to where it all started…

It seems the poor turnout for the launch party was a landmark moment for Totally Man U and its enthusiastic CEO.

Reality appeared to set in as the founder realised he may just have made the wrong call in his new venture.
