The colour and the glory: Help City in the Community give Manchester’s kids a boost this Mother’s Day

City in the Community has launched its first all blue colour run to help give 50,000 Manchester kids a better shot at life this year.

As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, the family-friendly event will see thousands of Manchester City fans line up outside the Etihad Stadium on Sunday March 26 ready to get covered from head to toe in a City blue colours.

Open to all ages and abilities, the route encompasses exclusive access around the Etihad Campus.

Blue runners will have the options to run, stroll or even skip their way around the route with all participants encouraged to fundraise for City in the Community, who are using the power of football to help others in need.

Former City keeper and City in the Community ambassador, Alex Williams MBE, said: “Every year, I’m inspired by the number of people who get behind the Club and City in the Community to take part in our fundraising events.

“Our Blue Run course is fully accessible and as the event falls on Mother’s Day, it’s the perfect way to get the family together for a brilliant day out.

“We are calling on families to get involved and help raise money for the Foundation.”

Blue Run registration is now open, with an early bird special offer now until Tuesday January 31. To register, visit www.mancity.com/BlueRun
