Mario Balotelli is included in Manchester City’s squad for Monday’s Premier League derby match against rivals United, after serving his three-match ban.

The Italian was sent off during the Blues’ defeat at Arsenal and was told he would not feature in Mancini’s team again this season.

But following Tevez’s return, boisterous Balotelli could be given an opportunity to increase his goal scoring tally against United.

Full-back Micah Richards is fit again after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Provisional squad: Hart, Pantilimon, Richards, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Savic, K Toure, Kolarov, Clichy, Milner, Johnson, Nasri, De Jong, Barry, Y Toure, Pizarro, Silva, Balotelli, Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko.
