As the Champions League and Championship take centre stage this week, Mancunian Matters' betting guru tries to beat the bookies with two trebles and an accumulator.

Our first treble offers odds of 9/1:

Blackpool to beat Coventry: Despite losing their unbeaten away record at Portsmouth on Saturday, Blackpool can get back to winning away against a Coventry side already in the bottom three and who struggle for goals at home.

Preston to beat Wycombe: Preston will be chasing a seventh straight league victory at Adams Park and should be backed to continue their sensational run.  Despite a morale-boosting victory at home to Sheffield United at the weekend, Preston should be too strong for newly-promoted Wanderers.

Napoli to beat Villarreal: After a mightily impressive performance away to Manchester City in week one of this season's Champions League, Napoli can make home advantage count against their Spanish opponents. Villarreal’s open style of play should suit the home team and allow the likes of Lavezzi, Cavani and Hamsik to show their quality.

Our second treble is offered at 15/1:

Borrusia Dortmund to beat Marseille: A late victory away to Mainz 05 at the weekend was just what was required for Jurgen Kloop’s young team.  Dortmund impressed during their opening draw with Arsenal and their team is more suited to away fixtures in Europe and with Marseille eager to please their hostile home crowd, an open game is expected with Dortmund’s attacking players expected to shine.

Chelsea to beat Valencia:  The “AVB” revolution is starting to take shape at Chelsea and with Fernando Torres looking back to his best, Chelsea and ex-Valencia player Juan Mata will take the points at the Mestalla.

Reading to beat Bristol city: Reading's play-off final hangover finally appears to be ending after a two-match unbeaten run. After Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Coventry, Brian McDermott’s men can gain their second away win of the season at goal-shy Bristol City.

Our final offer is an accumulator based on goals from both sides at odds of 9/1:

MK Dons v Charlton (League One)

Bayern Munich v Manchester City (UEFA Champions League Group A)

Trabzonspor v Lille (UEFA Champions League Group B)

Valencia v Chelsea (UEFA Champions League Group E)
