Wrestling gets a spooky makeover at Manchester’s Victoria Baths this Halloween

The New Wave Wrestling Alliance will be giving their latest wrestling event a spooky twist this weekend in Manchester.

Victoria Baths will be playing host to ‘Nine Lives – Halloween Spooktacular’, an event which promises to be much more than just a wrestling match.

The event will target fans of all ages with a family fun day taking place before the wrestlers get down to business in the ring. Doors open at 3pm, with the in-ring action commencing an hour and a half later.

During the period before the action starts the fun day will include many activities for the younger section of their following. Face painting, a bouncy castle and food stalls, and as if that wasn’t enough prizes are also on offer for the best fancy dress.

Then we move onto the storyline focused wrestling that the NWWA is famous for, providing a showcase of some of the UK’s best and most exciting wrestling talent.

The event will be action packed, boasting five5 thrilling matches including a high octane eight-person mixed tag team match.

The main event features ‘Liverpool’s Number 1’ Zack Gibson who has held numerous titles across the British wrestling circuit.

Gibson, who ventured to the Far East in 2014 to develop his skills, will be squaring off against fellow North West native and ex-PCW Champion Joey ‘Hot Stuff’ Hayes.

Online tickets will be available until 7pm on Friday 28th October and they will be available to buy on the door on the day.
