Oldham's Olympic medalist Nicola White will visit Belle Vue on Saturday to inspire the next generation of hockey players.
White – who scored her first Olympic goal at London 2012 – will attend the Commonwealth Games astroturfs on Kirkmanshulme Lane as part of the Harvester National Club Weekend.
Hockey Nation's 'Give it a Go' open weekend, running from 1-3pm, offers people the opportunity to try out hockey regardless of age, experience or ability.
The campaign is being run by England hockey with City of Manchester successful in bidding to have an Olympian attend.
Oldham born White – who plays her hockey for Slough HC – is one of 12 of the women's bronze medal-winning squad attending clubs throughout the country.
