John Licence, a vice president at AC by Marriott, has said it is the city’s ‘strong cultural heritage’ which attracted the brand to Manchester.

He explained: “With its strong cultural heritage and design credentials, Manchester is a great match for the AC by Marriott brand.

“The hotel provides guests with all the essentials they need – and nothing they don’t – creating a seamless, tranquil and frictionless experience, whether they’re travelling for business or leisure.”

The hotel’s 172 bedrooms – which include 30 deluxe doubles and 35 family rooms – incorporate neutral colour palettes ranging from deep grey to elegant creams, creating a modern sense of space inspired by the brand’s European heritage.

Combining elements of Manchester’s Industrial past with contemporary European design to create a modern yet comfortable look and feel, the AC Lounge allows guests to co-work by day, and relax with friends by night.

This is the brand’s second property in the city alongside AC Hotel Manchester Salford Quays.
