Friday will be the first chance the Edgeley Park faithful have to see the new-look Sharks following a summer of change, with Steve Diamond, a veteran of over 300 games for Sharks, taking charge.
Diamond holds European ambitions this season, and has brought in no less than 18 new faces following a summer clear out.
The 2006 Premiership champions will be looking to kick start their season following a narrow opening day defeat on Saturday at newly promoted Worcester Warriors.
