Sip sip hooray! The Liquorists whet Manchester’s palate once again as Rum Trail stirs city’s soul

For those in Manchester who seek what stirs the city, what awakens before dawn has arrived or just what whets the palate of enjoyment the time is here to enjoy the third instalment of The Liquorists’ exquisite Rum Trail.

Three is the magic number, the hat-trick hero, the winning number of a bedroom party, and next week until the end of September three will most certainly be a charm as Northern Quarter hosts an inviting venture across the finest watering holes to deliver supreme rums to a group of intrepid adventurers.

Following superb vodka, gin and whisk(e)y trails, the terrific twosome, aka The Liquorists, embark on another masterclass to take eager drinkers on a journey of taste, history and secrets.

With three weekly nights of pleasure commencing on Wednesdays, the voyage begins in Kosmonaut and ends in The Liquorists secret HQ where a Thai food happy-ending awaits those who have made it that far.

The night is chorused along by part-time tour guides, full-time spirit experts The Liquorists as revellers are treated to six rums, six cocktails and six food accompaniments for outstanding value.

On the trail will be six taster glasses of specially selected rums, from El Dorado, Wray and Nephew, Plantation, Brugal, Matusalem and Pussers and a finale feast to cap the night off.

The Rum Trail will run for six weeks on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings until September 28.
