Toddler in hospital with fractured skull following first floor window plunge in Royton, Greater Manchester

A Royton toddler is in hospital after suffering a fractured skull in a fall from a window in Greater Manchester.

The 17-month-old fell from a first floor window of a house on St Phillips Drive, Royton, at 2pm on yesterday.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and found that a 17-month-old boy had suffered a serious head injury after falling from a first-floor window.

“The child was taken to hospital for treatment to a fractured skull.

“Police inquiries are ongoing into this incident.”
