Ex-Manchester United star Ray Wilkins is being charged with drink-driving.
Wilkins, who more recently was assistant manager at Chelsea, was arrested near his home in Cobham, Surrey, on Monday.
The 55-year-old was pulled over in Fairmile Lane at 1.50am and was taken to Reigate police station before being charged and bailed.
Wilkins is due to appear at North Surrey Magistrates’ Court on May 21.
‘Butch’ won 84 caps for England and scored seven goals in 160 appearances for Manchester United between 1979 and 1984.
