The days of eating meat and potato pies while cheering on the Blues are long gone as Manchester City unveiled their new catering collaboration with TV chef Jamie Oliver.
The Premier League champions have teamed up with the man who saved UK school dinners, pioneered grub in 15 minute and half hour time frames and tackled the issue of obesity in the US – or tried to.
And now City supporters will be treated to Oliver’s finest offerings as the club announced a five-year venture with Fabulous Fan Fare – owned by the chef’s Fabulous Feasts and Legends Hospitality company.
City’s chief commercial and operating officer Tom Glick said: “It is our ambition to create a world-class customer experience for everybody who visits the Etihad Stadium.
“We are looking forward to working with these two leading brands as we continue to develop our stadium to achieve this aim.”
Food will be served up to fans from the beginning of next season as Oliver’s offerings will take over all aspects of catering at the Etihad Stadium.
