Manchester City bets on Paddy Power in new partnership for international football fans

Manchester City and Paddy Power are announcing a partnership to deliver pioneering betting services to international football fans.

The leading bookmakers offer the popular ‘Money-Back Special’ to customers, which sees lost bets refunded, and City bosses are confident of delivering a wide range of commericial services to supporters.

The deal will run until the end of next season, and Blues’ fans will be able to access a range of gambling products via the club’s official website or a new microsite.

Ian Cafferky, Manchester City’s Chief Brand and Commerical Officer, said: “We wanted to wait for the right partner with the right principles, especially when it came to how they intended to engage with our biggest asset, our fans.”

He added: “Not only do Paddy Power and football go hand-in-hand but, with their dynamic match-day odds and Money-Back Specials, we believe this partnership will provide real added value to our supporters’ match-day experience.”

Paddy Power operates 356 betting outlets and is Britain and Ireland’s third largest online bookmakers and is the number one online corporate bookmakers in Australia.

The company offers sports betting, online poker, online bingo, online casino and games and is the UK market leader in mobile betting. The company is listed on the Irish and UK stock exchanges.
