By Dean Wilkins

Three men arrested on suspicion of murdering a young dad at a Droylsden pub were bailed today.

Officers questioned the men, aged 27, 29 and 37, on Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of Mark Short, 23, at the Cotton Tree Inn on May 25.

Detectives are continuing their investigations of the ‘targeted attack’ – which three other men were also injured in – and the trio have been bailed until August.

Mr Short, a father-of-one, died from a gunshot wound to the neck and four others arrested in connection with his death remain on police bail.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 9283, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
