The Jacksons bring Motown to Manchester – city one of five dates on comeback Unity tour

By Mancunian Matters staff

The Jacksons are set to bring their reunion to the UK – and Manchester is one of only five dates across the country.

Following the death of their brother Michael Jackson – who sang on many of their most-loved hits – there has been numerous stirrings of a reunion.

But in April 2012, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito announced they would perform together again for the Unity tour.

The brothers will perform at Manchester Apollo on February 24 next year, before heading on to Glasgow, Bournemouth and London. They will also play at Birmingham NIA Academy.

The Jacksons were best known as The Jackson 5, and their hits include ABC and I Want You Back.

Tickets for the Unity tour go on sale on Friday morning.
