A celebrity foot reader who has worked on Alan Carr’s tootsies will teach the toe alphabet at an Altrincham two-day seminar this month.
Manchester-born Jane Sheehan, who has appeared on ITV’s This Morning and various regional radio shows, is holding the event at the Cresta Court Hotel on 24 and 25 September.
All attendees will learn about the relationship between feet and the personality in a fun and non-intimidating environment.
“We’re going to have a riot,” said Jane.
“There is going to be theory, but I don’t do boring.”
Jane’s passion was sparked after attending a reflexology session with her friend and finding herself overwhelmed by her emotional reactions.
After memorising Imre Somogyi’s toe alphabet and absorbing herself in 65 hours of case study, her holistic career, which began in 1999, has gone from strength-to-strength.
Now Jane is frequently touring the country holding seminars and foot parties, and has even read the famous feet of Blue’s Lee Ryan, Reese Witherspoon and Celebrity Big Brother’s Samuel Preston.
“I told Preston that his feet suggested he was heading for great change and a new beginning,” she said.
“And he said, ‘You’re a witch! I’m buying my first house!’.”
Although reflexologists are the most likely candidates to benefit from the event, anybody with a general interest for the mind, body and spirit connection are welcome to attend.
Tickets for Jane’s seminar, which is held in conjunction with Jubilee College, cost £80 a day and are available from [email protected].
