A pensioner hit by a cyclist in Altrincham one week ago has died.
The 81-year-old man was crossing Manchester Road, Broadheath, next to the junction of Devonshire Road, when the 22-year-old cyclist collided with him on a pelican crossing.
He suffered serious head injuries which were initially treated at the scene by a passing doctor, while the cyclist was uninjured.
The pensioner was then taken to Salford Royal Hospital in a critical condition, however he passed away on Saturday.
