Sick police-hater claims it’s not fair to be locked up for wearing vicious t-shirt mocking Manchester officers’ murders

By Dean Wilkins

A man who donned a vicious t-shirt laughing at Greater Manchester Police just hours after two female officers were shot dead is appealing against his sentence.

Barry Thew, 39, of Wolsey Street, Radcliffe, glorified the murders of PCs Fiona Bone, 32, and Nicola Hughes, 23, and laughed at their deaths by wearing clothing reading ‘One less pig, perfect justice’, and ‘ hahaha’.

The unemployed moron then took to the streets of Radcliffe and poked fun at the ‘darkest day of GMP’s history’ and the pair were shot dead in a gun and grenade attack after responding to a ‘routine burglary call’.

Thew pleaded guilty to a public order offence after members of the public complained to the police and he was arrested – he was slapped with a four month jail term and received an additional four months for breaching a previous suspended sentence.

His appeal will be put to three judges Lord Chief Justice Lord Judge, Mr Justice Fulford and Mr Justice Bean at London’s Court of Appeal.
