Email the answer here with your name and contact number for your chance to win a pair of free tickets to the hottest gig in town this Friday. Entries must be received by 3.00pm Friday September 2.
RUDE is one of the UK’s greatest ever house nights. First set up on April 1, 1994, in Reflections, it attracted over 900 people every Friday night from 1995-96 as it hit venues such as Club 57 in Oldham, The Dance Factory in Preston, Kalistos in Huddersfield and Fusion in Royton.
RUDE’s legendary status was cemented when it moved to Club 360 for what became a five year residency, transforming a little known café-bar into Oldham’s hottest nightspot, packed to capacity every Saturday before its doors shut for the final time on October 28, 2006.
In RUDE’s five years at Club 360 it brought some of the scene’s biggest names to Oldham such as DANNY RAMPLING, JEREMY HEALY, BRANDON BLOCK, KATHY BROWN, LISA MILLET, ATFC, JASON HERD, SEAMUS HAJI, COPYRIGHT, SHOVELL, GRAEME PARK, TOM WAINRIGHT, SOUL CENTRAL, MISS MONEYPENNYS, DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE, JON FITZ and many, many more!
And now, for its monster 17th Birthday party, RUDE is taking over Sankeys to bring you two rooms packed with amazing house. The special guest is Manchester’s very own dance star Jason Herd, with Daz Pearson, Danny Knight and Mike Thewlis spearheading the support.
MM has three pairs of free tickets up for grabs, and one of you lucky readers could be raving the night away in Ancoats this Friday, September 2. All you have to do is answer the question at the top of this page!
