Mario’s worth £200million: Agent sets price-tag for Manchester City and Italy striker Balotelli despite Euro 2012 sulk

Manchester City favourite Mario Balotelli is worth an unprecedented £200million, claims his agent.

The striker stormed off the field after his Italian side were demolished 4-0 by a dominant Spain in the Euro 2012 final.

But the 21-year-old, who stole the headlines for a sumptuous brace in the 2-1 semi-final triumph over Germany, is being linked with a move back to Serie A.

“I have always said that Mario Balotelli is one player that could become the strongest in the world,” Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola told Sky Italia.

“He is probably amongst the strongest in Europe.

“How much is he worth? He is worth what the market says, he is one that can make a difference.

“In the actual market I don’t think there is a value for him but if I had to give a price I would say he is worth 250million (euros).

“I say this to give a figure but you would have to ask the City owner how much he is worth.”

Balotelli joined City from Inter in August 2010 after winning three league titles and the Champions League and is under contract until June 2015.

“I’m 200% certain that Mario will not return to Italy at least while I’m his agent,” Raiola said.
