South Korean star Chung-Yong Lee wants to hit the ground running when he returns from international duty for next week’s Charlton Athletic clash.
The 24-year-old winger jetted off to Seoul to face Qatar as part of South Korea’s qualifying campaign for Brazil 2014.
And when he returns he hopes Saturday’s defeat to Ipswich Town will have been put firmly behind the Trotters.
“I want to come back to Bolton feeling good,” he told the club website. “The game at Charlton is important.
“The pitch and wind made it very difficult to play properly against Ipswich. They had good positions and shape and made it hard for us.
“A draw would have been a fair result, but this game is now gone. After games like this we are always looking forward. We want to forget this game and now get ready for Charlton after the internationals.
“I feel we still have a chance of going to the play-offs, so we have to remain positive.”
The loss to the struggling Tractor Boys ended Wanderers’ eight-game unbeaten run, leaving them eighth in the table and five points off the play-offs.
They face the Addicks at the Valley on March 30.
