Say cheese and run: Prankster Mario Balotelli is YouTube hit yet again after swiping club photographer’s lens

By Dean Wilkins

Manchester City’s original prankster Mario Balotelli is a YouTube hit once again after swiping the club photographer’s camera lens after Sunday’s game.

The limelight may have fumbled on the Italian striker after his shirt ripping antics at Euro 2012, but the 22-year-old is rioting across the global video website again as he snatched Sharon Latham’s equipment.

Balotelli came on as a second-half substitute to gain his first official Premier League assist after inspiring City to a two-goal comeback in a 3-2 victory over Southampton.

But despite his relatively minor joke, Balotelli has still attracted more than one million hits in less than 24 hours.

One reader said: “I’m a United fan and I think Mario is a lad! We need more people like him off the pitch. But on the pitch, he could do with wising up a bit.”
