Promising England youngster Wilfred Zaha is set to complete a medical test with Manchester United in the next 48 hours before sealing a £10million deal.
The 20-year-old Crystal Palace ace has been heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford, with both clubs refraining to comment until the deal has officially been done.
The Premier League leaders were believed to have completed the deal weeks ago, and will include a loan-back option for the winger.
Sir Alex Fegurson was reported to have attended a secret meeting with Zaha’s representatives after United’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Sunday – while his team flew out to Qatar for a four-day training camp.
Competition to secure Zaha’s signature has been fierce, but United powered their way to the £10million singing, which could rise to £15million depending on appearances and success.
Zaha earned his first call up to England’s first-team last year and could make his second in the friendly against Brazil in February.
