LISTEN: The fashion industry now has new emission reduction rate targets

The Fashion Industry for Climate Action announced there will be new emission reduction rate targets at COP 26 for the fashion industry, Emma Hagerty reports. 

It was pledged that the industry would achieve a net-zero emission rate by the year of 2050. 

A commitment was also made for 100 percent of electricity used by the industry to come from renewable sources by 2030 as well as environmentally friendly raw materials.
