Get ready for Messi again… Man City draw Barcelona in Champions League

Lionel Messi and company will be heading to Manchester once more after City drew Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League.

In a repeat of last season’s draw, Manuel Pellegrini’s men will welcome the Catalan club to The Etihad in February before travelling to the Nou Camp in March.

Messi was inspirational for Barcelona in both of those games, winning 2-0 in Manchester before wrapping it up in Spain with a 2-1 win to secure a comfortable 4-1 victory over two legs.

Here is the reaction of City fans after drawing the Spanish giants:

City host Barcelona on February 24 before the return leg on March 18.

Elsewhere, holders and 10-times European champions Real Madrid drew Germans Schalke 04, Chelsea will play Paris St Germain, Bayer Leverkusen will take on last season’s runners-up Atletico Madrid while Juventus against Borussia Dortmund is one of the ties of the round.

Five-times European champions Bayern Munich face Shakhtar Donetsk, Arsenal and Monaco will battle over a quarter-final place and finally Basel will play Porto.
