Pixie Lott has revealed to MM that fans should expect her upbeat performance at Manchester Pride to be the highlight of the weekend.

The Big Weekend just keeps getting bigger as the All About Tonight babe brings her pop-infused magic to the event among the stellar line-up of singers who will grace the main stage.

Returning for her second appearance at Manchester Pride after making her debut three years ago, the star intends to show the crowd a great night and finish the Saturday on a high.

“There’s definitely going to be a lot of up tempo stuff,” Pixie said, “because I know the crowd appreciates that more than stripped back acoustic stuff.”

The singer’s fast-paced performance is guaranteed to wow audiences and get everyone on their feet as she closes out the night.

“I’m going to have all my dancers and hopefully we can get the crowd going,” she said.

Pop princess Pixie will be bringing all her hits to her Pride extravaganza with debut number one Mama do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) and follow-up hit Boys and Girls as well as recent charter Nasty all primed to make a splash.

The blonde bombshell recently spoke to MM about her love for sixties and seventies style, which was incorporated into her self-titled last album, and she assures Pixie fanatics that her ensemble on Saturday will be as spectacular as her performance.

“Manchester Pride especially is an excuse to have fun with your outfit,” said the 23-year-old star.

“You can really mix it up compared to, like, a red carpet event.”

Other acts who will be joining the singing sensation include Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst, All Saints, Anastacia and X Factor alumni Marcus Collins, Lucy Spraggan and Misha B.

Opening on the main stage before Pixie makes her bow will be stars like The Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt, MOBO award-winning R&B group Big Brovaz and female dance duo Booty Luv.

Pride employees can’t wait to have Pixie back on board after her 2011 Pride performance proved to be a hit.

Chief Executive of Manchester Pride, Mark Fletcher said, “Pixie is joining a stellar line-up for 2014 and we’re excited to see all of our performers.

“We’re already feeling the love for this year’s Pride line-up with so much buzz already building in the run up to the Big Weekend.”

Pixie’s ‘fun, high-energy gig’ is sure to end the second day of the Big Weekend in fast and furious style – and Pride chiefs promise Manchester’s strongest line-up yet.

The main stage will be open from 7pm to 11pm on the August 23 with Pixie’s set beginning at 9.45pm.

Tickets are £22 for a weekend ticket or £12.50 for a day ticket and can be purchased at the Manchester Pride website. Children aged two and under do not require a ticket.
