Manchester man, 24, due to appear in court following Flixton road accident that killed fellow passenger


A 24-year-old man is due to appear in court following a road accident in Flixton that led to the death of his passenger.

Liam Colin Creathorne, of Cheriton Street, is due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on July 15 charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving whilst unfit through drink.

John Hodgson, 27, from Stretford was a passenger in the Vauxhall Corsa when it collided with a tree on Chassen Road, Flixton, shortly before 11pm on October 27 last year.

He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
