Manchester Flower Festival took over the city centre giving visitors the chance to enjoy a weekend of events, mini gardens, large displays, a craft market, and even a cocktail trail.
Now in its 8th year, the festival is commissioned by Manchester City Centre BID. The free event over the late May bank holiday aims to celebrate the start of summer, enhance the city’s appeal, and increase footfall.
This year’s theme celebrated Manchester and other great cities of the world, featuring florists’ interpretations of famous landmarks from Marrakesh, Paris, and Mumbai, to name a few.
We stepped behind the scenes with the creative florists who created some of the stunning floral displays.
